Josh and Marissa!!

So…this wonderful couple is actually family! Josh and Marissa Svaleson have been married for two years and we wanted to share them with you! This lovely couple just added a new member to their family! Her name is Lily, she is part maltese, japanese chin and shih-tzu! How adorable is she!!! She is the cutest little puppy I have seen in such a long time…not to mention she was brought into the best family ever!

While Derek was taking their pictures just outside their house, I was given the honor of watching Lily:)That was so much fun! She has soooooo much energy to use up.  She would run around like a little fur ball and play games with me! She is an angel with quite sharp teeth tho!:)

After we put their little bundle of joy away for the rest of the shoot, we had Josh and Marissa change into another outfit and off we went to our second spot! It is so much fun riding in the car with these two, the conversations and subjects are endless!  Once we arrived to our second spot we walked a ways to a small, tall grassed area in which we got some b-e-a-utiful shots! I really enjoyed the colors they decided to go with for this (they did not know where we were going to take them)! The sun was some what tricky for us to work with. We would have the best positions for them and us but the sun would come out from a cloud and blind them! In all honesty…it was sort of frustrating. We have learned from that situation that we need to make sure we use our time wisely when the sun is behind the clouds and to take the best shots we can get!

Our third and final destination we were planning to use was actually not used! We were traveling to our third spot but Derek saw an abandoned warehouse that was victim to our terrible flooding we have every spring. I was not too sure how this was going to work but I saw some coloring we could work with and thought “why not!?” We eventually found out the sunlight was absolutely perfect for our last shoot with them! The final pictures turned out amazing for Josh and Marissa.

Not only is Marissa, Derek’s cousin, but I consider her one of my sisters! We can relate and enjoy eachother’s company. As for Derek and Josh, I am assuming the feelings are the same;)This couple, through the shootings and traveling, showed us that they are truly in love. Can’t you see it in their pictures? Not only did we see “true love” but we also made so many memories that will be in our endless conversations for years to come. May God bless the Svaleson family. We love you!!

Until we meet again friends..stay tuned for more memories to be shown!
